SOLVATTEN® helps Middagsfrid to climate compensate

april 21, 2010

Tricorona and the Swedish company Middagsfrid have signed an agreement to invest in a CDM project that will generate carbon credits.
The project will be conducted in western Kenya, where a prior pilot study took place in 2009. Approximately 5 000 people will benefit as they will start using the sun to warm and boil water and reduce their use of fuels that pollute. And at the same time the project will enable Middagsfrid to compensate for their carbon emissions for a year. The collaboration between Solvatten AB, Tricorona and Middagsfrid will demonstrate climate compensation in a way that significantly improves lives and the environment – what better way to do this?
